The Paseo ProjectOKC Gathering

Meet other people who believe in the principles Jesus Christ taught and want to incorporate them into modern life. Weekly gatherings will begin August 6th!  Gather for community building, missional projects in the Paseo area and reinventing the modern Church. Sauced will be our starting point for all events. (2912 Paseo, OKC)

We want to invent a place where beauty, art and creativity will be valued, utilized, and understood as coming from our Creator. We would like for this group to help people discover how they can use their own unique gifts and talents to increase the Kingdom.

This will be a casual time for discussion about community, missional living and culture. Pizza will be provided to facilitate community, as long as supplies last!

This is a gathering for people committed to seeing OKC grow spiritually and in the arts. We want to be more than just a social group, we want to create real change. Real change includes kids being fed, families being strengthened and individuals making positive choices.

The agenda for the night will be very fluid. Pizza will be ordered for people who RSVP, feel free to RSVP for your guests. This will be a time to introduce ourselves to each other and enjoy the company of others. Feel free to come and go, as time goes on we can define the agenda for future evenings. This will be shared community so feel free to pitch in with your ideas.

Some ideas for discussion include:

• How we can be a part of the arts community in the area
• How we can help the poor in this community
• What projects we might like to take on
• What events we might like to be a part of or host
• Talk about emergent or missional theology
• How we can connect with other churches in the area to be The Church
